Bianca Bouverie is a super talented graphic and UI/UX designer who left the city to return to her small town roots and in the process opened up her own design studio. I've had the privilege of working with her on several projects over the last while, and am always impressed by her creativity, fast-paced work style, and no-nonsense approach to design. She isn't afraid to say when something isn't working, which when it comes to design is the kind of tactic that saves us all a lot of heartache!
Bianca tends toward clean, minimal design in her own work and wanted to website to reflect that. She also wanted to bring in her love for nature and her farming background through the choice of colour and style of photography. I put together a simple long scrolling one-page site with sections for an introduction, services, about and contact. No mess. No fuss. Later we added separate pages linked in the footer to showcase her portfolio from branding to social media design work.
Bianca designed her own logo (of course), keeping with the themes of minimalism and nature with this monogram-styled logo.
The photos for Bianca's site were taken by the Courtney Clegg. They're very much Bianca's style - natural tones, soft hues and loads of texture.
